From those answers we choose the cloth and the line — then cut, fit, and finish until the garment sits the way it should when the wearer stops thinking about it. The finished piece is then sold as itself, with the notes needed to keep it alive.
Accessories belong here too, when they are part of the same piece or the same look: a belt, a bag, gloves, trims chosen against the cloth rather than beside it.
